


OUR Process
BASA Weightlifting has helped athletes of all levels from hitting training PRs to winning National Championships. We offer a customized and periodized structure of training for every age. And we specialize in working with Masters Athletes.
We provide programming, bi-weekly video analysis and feedback, and weekly in-person coaching. After closing our facility in March of 2025, we have a new home at Exile Gym in Rosedale, MD. Team Training with coach Jason is every Saturday.
Our programming follows phases that maximize peaking throughout the year.
A typical macrocycle will look like this:
2-6 weeks- Force Production and Hypertrophy
4-8 weeks- Velocity and Power
2-5 weeks- Accuracy
1-4 weeks- Peaking

Our Mission
We started BASA Weightlifting in 2016 to grow the sport of Olympic Weightlifting and help athletes of all skill levels realize and work towards their potential. By tackling not only the in-gym training, but also the "off the platform" routine, our athletes improve their total and their lifestyle.
We want to help you be leaner, stronger, and faster, but also upgrade your mental fortitude, increase valuable habits, eat for progress, and get a good nights sleep.
